The Drive Into The Wild dream started with an overland expedition across Africa in 2003, and today we have evolved the self-drive safari concept to provide our customers with the optimal way to discover East Africa’s spectacular wildlife.

When discovering the sights and sounds of East Africa with us, you will not be travelling in the usual style in a stretched safari vehicle alongside up to 6 other passengers and your driver. You will also not be rushing at high-speed from one destination to the other via helicopter or bush plane, thus missing out on seeing the great outdoors and meeting the friendly locals who call East Africa their home.

Instead, you will have your own modern 4x4 vehicle which you can either drive escorted or un-escorted from lodge to lodge, or to our very own authentic mobile tented camps. Some customers opt for the best of both, choosing a combination of lodges and our mobile camps. Either way, we will do our best to ensure your safari is unique, by coming off the beaten path and avoiding the crowds.
